Nous nous levons un peu plus tard, vers 8 h 30.
Jens travaille ensuite et moi aussi. J’ai du retard avec le blog, je dois encore rattraper le voyage de Tucuman.
Nous allons faire une petite promenade et acheter le journal.
Nous sommes invités chez Rodolfo et Olga à 1 h. Nous partons à midi et demi, ce n’est pas très loin. La circonvalación a de chaque côté, tout le long, une « lateral » que nous pouvons prendre en vélo. Cette lateral a des entrées et des sorties pour la circonvalación. Nous nous perdons un tout petit peu : nous sommes à una cuadra de chez eux quand on est obligé de demander de l’aide.
Nous sommes très bien accueillis, bien sûr. Bon déjeuner : en entrée, du melon avec du jambon cru, puis du poulet farci. C’est une spécialité de San Juan. Le poulet est désossé et farci sans perdre sa forme. A voir on dirait un poulet rôti. C’est un art. La plupart des gens l’achètent tout prèt. Il peut être farci au roquefort, au jambon et fromage (tout ceci avec le blanc du poulet). De la salade et comme dessert, des poires au vin.
Nous parlons de tout et de rien. Rodolfo et Olga nous racontent un peu de l’histoire de l’Argentine. Nous parlons aussi de nos enfants. Ils ont un fils en Nouvelle Zélande.
Nous repartons de ce déjeuner … à 7 h du soir ! Le temps passe vite en bonne compagnie. Rodolfo et Olga nous donne du raisin (de leur treille) et du melon.
Nous nous reposons un peu et repartons, en vélo toujours, pour le cours de tango à 9 h chez Marcelo et Fabiana. Cela prend une demi-heure.
Nous progressons un peu. Un des secrets du tango est la communication entre l’homme et la femme. L’homme mène mais il doit savoir interpréter le langage corporel de la femme. Par exemple, il doit savoir (sentir) si la femme a le poids du corps sur un pied ou sur l’autre. Il doit alors démarrer en fonction de cela. Si la femme a le poids du corps sur le pied gauche, l’homme doit faire de telle sorte que la femme démarre avec le pied droit (qu’elle peut lever sans problème). On change de partenaire. C’est toujours très sympa. Et, je le redis, Gerardo et Jesica sont d'excellents professeurs. On a de la chance de les avoir. Et le petit coup après est devenu traditionnel. On rentre tard, vers minuit.
Jens s’est baigné un très court instant après être rentré de chez Rodolfo et Olga, pour se rafraichir, mais pas moi.

We get up a little later, around 8:30 am.
Then Jens works a little and me too. I'm behind with the blog, I have yet to catch up with the trip to Tucuman.
We walk a little in the neighborhood and buy the newspaper.
We are invited to Rodolfo and Olga at1 pm. We leave at half past twelve, it is not very far. The circonvalación has on each side, all along, a "lateral" were we can ride a bike. This lateral has entrances and way out for the circonvalación. We get lost a little bit: we are at una cuadra from their house when we ask for help.
We are very welcome, of course. Good lunch: as a starter, melon with ham and, after that a stuffed chicken. It is a specialty of San Juan. The chicken is deboned and stuffed without losing its shape. It looks like a roasted chicken. It is an art. Most people buy it all ready. It can be stuffed with blue cheese, or ham and cheese (all with chicken meat also); salad and for dessert, pears in wine.
We talk about everything and nothing. Rodolfo and Olga tell us a bit about the history of Argentina. We also talk about our children. They have a son in New Zealand.
We left this lunch ... at 7 pm! Rodolfo and Olga give us grapes (from their garden) and melon.
We rest a bit and start again, always by bike, for tango lessons with Marcelo and Fabiana. It takes half an hour from the hotel to get there.
We are progressing a little. One secret of tango is the communication between man and woman. The man leads but he must know how to interpret the woman’s body language. For example, he must know (feel) if the woman has the weight on one foot or the other. It should then start on that basis. If a woman has the weight on left foot, the man must lead so as the woman starts with the right foot (she can take her right foot up without problem). We change partners. It is always very friendly. And, again, Grardo and Jesica are excellent teachers. We are lucky. And after, the little drink has become traditional. We come home late, around midnight.
Jens took a very short dip in the swimming pool, after returning home from Rodolfo and Olga, but not me.
